Two Years Strong, and Just Getting Started

Two years ago, HydroEQ was founded with a clear focus: advancing water solutions in mining through practical, science-driven approaches.

Since then, we’ve grown alongside a group of incredible clients and built a team that shares the common purpose of creating a positive impact in the lives of our employees, the clients we support, and the communities where we work. What brings us together is not just the work itself, but how we approach it: with a can-do attitude, a commitment to excellence, and a strong sense of teamwork.

Over the past two years, we’ve had the opportunity to take on complex geochemical and water quality challenges across the mining sector. Our approach has remained consistent as we apply targeted innovation where it adds value, design fit-for-purpose solutions that align with site-specific needs, and maintain a big picture mindset that connects technical work to broader environmental, operational, and regulatory outcomes.

None of this happens in isolation. Our progress reflects a highly collaborative team that leans into challenges, supports one another, and takes shared ownership of both successes and lessons learned.

To mark this milestone, we brought our entire team together in Calgary from across Ontario, BC, and Alberta. It was a chance to reconnect in person, reflect on what we’ve built, and spend time with the people behind the work.

As we move into year three, our focus remains the same: continue building a company where people are engaged and supported, clients value the partnership, and our work contributes meaningfully to responsible and sustainable mining.
