HydroEQ Celebrates One Year in Business

Celebrating our first anniversary at HydroEQ, we’re filled with gratitude for the journey we’ve had so far. One year ago, a handful of geochemists and water quality scientists set out to provide practical and reasonable solutions to water and mine waste challenges in the mining industry. We opened our doors because we are driven to have a lasting and positive impact on the lives of our employees and colleagues, the operations of our mining clients, and our broader communities.

We’d like to express our heartfelt thanks to our clients for the trust they put in us. Whether we’ve continued long-standing partnerships or embarked on new projects, we are here to help you, and the broader community, achieve a sustainable balance between economic prosperity, environmental protection, and societal health. Your trust and partnership are why we can grow and succeed.

Our past year has been a testament to the power of talented people coming together with a shared vision. For our anniversary gathering in Calgary, the whole team engaged in two days of reflection and team-building events, including a night of bowling and an insightful seminar hosted by Simone Brown on building company culture centered around psychological safety.

We wrapped up the two days with a heightened sense of excitement about the work ahead of us – the technical challenges we will continue to tackle for the mining industry, and the cultural growth we’re committed to fostering within our own team through conscious attention and action. That’s the beauty of being employee-owned: every team member is invested in HydroEQ’s success.

We couldn’t be more excited about continuing this journey together. We love what we do, and we’re excited to continue working alongside our clients and partners to create a sustainable, balanced future for the mining industry and beyond. Here’s to true teamwork, integrity, and excellence – and many more years at HydroEQ!
